In the Huffington Post

Yeah, very cool!

The Huff Post gang dropped by our booth at the 1st Annual Hot Sauce Expo at East River State Park in Brooklyn, NY.

I was so psyched -- they LOVED the scrumptious flavor of my Caribbean Jerk Sauce Marinade. Baron's International Kitchen is featured in coverage of the event where they wrote, it was "Seriously...the best jerk sauce we've tasted. Hands down". YES!!

Check out the article. Baron's International Kitchen is in the slideshow.

Thanks Huffington Post for getting the word out about this fantastic event and some great gourmet specialty companies.

If you're looking for Hudson Valley produced products in more of the markets where you like to shop, then you're gonna love ShopRite's new Hudson Valley/local section.

It was great to hear of ShopRite's new Hudson Valley local initiative. Makes sense! There are lots of fantastic gourmet specialty products produced by artisinal companies based right here in the Hudson Valley. ShopRite is now showcasing the best of the Hudson Valley's indie artisinal foods to Hudson Valley residents and visitors alike and I'm psyched to be a part of it!

You'll find Baron's International Kitchen in the new Hudson Valley/local section in ShopRite stores in the Hudson Valley. Things are still getting going so it may take a little while before this new Hudson Valley/local section is up and running in all the ShopRite stores but keep an eye out for us.

I'm excited to be on the shelves at Union Market. It was a pleasure to read the founders' mission...they seem like regular guys who feel about food the same way I do, which is nice. It feels good to be doing business with Union Market.

If you're in the area, stop by for special deals and of course free samples and recipes. Now available at Ginsberg's Wholesale Market

Great news for all our customers in and around Columbia County NY! My award-winning Caribbean Jerk Sauce Marinades, Caribbean Hot Sauce and Portuguese Repolho Relish are available at Ginsberg's Wholesale Market.

Ginsberg's Wholesale Market is located at 29 Ginsberg Lane in the historic city of Hudson, NY. The Market is open to the public Monday - Friday from 9AM till 5:30 and on Saturday from 9AM till 3PM. A variety of payment methods are accepted including cash, check and credit cards. With over 7,000 items in their warehouse, they're sure to have anything you need for your party or picnic- from disposable utensils and cooking tools to appetizers and desserts, but if you don't see what you need, one of the associates will give you a hand.

The wholesale market's website has a great party planning checklist that you're sure to find invaluable when you're planning your next get together. There is a handy shopping list to help you keep track of the food and serving or disposable items you might need, useful guides to help you determine (based on the number of guests attending) how much deli food you need to buy or how many appetizers to serve and great advice including recommended serving sizes for cocktail or dinner parties, safe handling for perishable and non-perishable foods and grilling tips. You've gotta check this out.

I always enjoy visiting Hudson, NY. The city of Hudson is located along the western border of Columbia County and was named after the nearby Hudson River and Henry Hudson, the explorer. It's a short ride from the Taconic State Parkway or NYS Thruway and an Amtrak train stop makes it a 2-hour trip from New York City. You're sure to enjoy exploring it's scenic waterfront, miles of historic streets and buildings, lighthouse and of course, the gourmet & specialty food stores. Come up and stay for the weekend at one of the cozy B&B's, take in a performance at one of the live performance spaces or be pampered at one of the mind, body and soul rejuvenating salons. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from like American Glory BBQ located right in the heart of Hudson's restaurant district on Warren Street.

I'm continuously working to get my gourmet specialties, which are based on my family's recipes from destinations around the world, on the shelves of your favorite grocers. I'll be sharing a big announcement about a new retailer soon so stay tuned. In the meantime, keep those requests and recommendations coming!

Now featured on Many Kitchens' curated artisanal online marketplace

My award-winning gourmet marinades and condiments are now featured on Many Kitchens' new and really cool gourmet artisanal, online marketplace.

I met founder Valentina Rice last September when she invited Baron's International Kitchen to be featured on the marketplace. Like me, Valentina is a foodie who enjoys all kinds of fine foods. Starting Many Kitchens has been her dream for some time because, "...sometimes you're looking for something new but you don't know what's good to try. Wouldn't it be great if there was an online space you could go to to find gourmet foods someone else has already tried and recommended". As she discovered new and truly scrumptious gourmet delecacies, she also wished there was an online space where she could share those culinary experiences with other foodies. She joined forces with Chef Aurora Satler and created Many Kitchens to be that online space.

If you enjoy gourmet food, visit Many Kitchens' curated online marketplace and browse all the featured fine gourmet artisanal foods. You won't be able to resist getting something for that foodie in your life! New gourmet specialties are continuously being added to the marketplace too so be sure to check in regularly to find out what tantalizing new gourmet yummies they've discovered.

Here's to being "in the know",

Terry
