Kicking off the 2012 season

I'm super psyched to be kicking off the 2012 season!

Since I launched my product line officially back in March 2010, I've had some stressful times, I've had some amazing moments and I've hit some pretty big milestones. Overall, Baron's International Kitchen has come out stronger...and so has this CEO.

There are a couple of things I'm really excited about this season...

First, we have a new look! My award-winning, gourmet marinades and condiments are featured in sleeker glass (a big thanks to Sam at Burch Bottle for all his patience). For all of you out there who requested that I make the relish in a larger jar, check out the new size. There's nearly 25% more to share with family and friends!

I know how much you like the unique triangular shaped jars- the original glass for both the relish and hot sauce...I love those jars too :) Those aren't going away but they do have a new look that's really cool. They're packaged in a 3pack gourmet international condiment sampler set (click here to see a picture of it, second item on the page). In the Gourmet Condiments Gift Set, you'll get 1 jar each of the Caribbean Hot Sauce and Portuguese Repolho Relish. The 3rd item is my West Indian Dipping Sauce- brown sugar sweet and packed with Island flavor. My Gourmet Condiments Gift Set is an exclusive specialty item so you'll only find it at select retailers (the individual jars in the gift set are sold separately in my online store). You've got to check out the Gourmet Condiments Gift Set for your favorite foodie.

For my wholesale clients, there's now volume-based pricing so they can leverage their buying power to better meet your demand.

On the sampling side, I've traded my plastic sampling cups for a greener, more environmentally friendly alternative- biodegradable sampling cups and spoons that won't add to our landfills. I did it for my kids and it felt great to do it! Thanks Drew S. at the Honest Weight Food Co-Op in Albany, NY for telling me about Ecotensil.

On the production side, I have some amazing new help to make my award winning, gourmet sauces and condiments. I wrote a while back about Nelson Farms in Cazenovia, NY, well sorry to say, they really, really let me down. I'm now working with a great bunch of folks over at Brooks Bottling in Oneonta, NY. The combination of owner, Ryan Brooks' knowledge and experience deliver a quality of service that really meets the mark. Ryan doesn't just manage Brooks House of BBQ- his family's business now in it's 3rd generation and Brooks Bottling, his co-packaging company. He's a manufacturer too and he really "gets" the pride I take in producing my high-quality gourmet sauces with delectable flavors. He and his team are flexible and easy to work with- no drama, no nonsense and they have the capacity to meet my needs as my company grows. If you're in the market for a bottling company to help produce your gourmet specialties, give Ryan Brooks and his team at Brooks Bottling a call at 800-498-2445. Schedule a tour. Tell him Terry sent you :)

Over the next couple of weeks, you may see my new jars on store shelves, you may try some of the new recipes on my website and Facebook page, you may even follow my new store announcements or read about my newest event...with all that's new, I promise one thing remains true- the tantalizingly scrumptious flavors of my award-winning, gourmet sauces and condiments. Thanks to everyone out there for all the support and encouragement, especially my hubby Josh. I wouldn't have been able to live this dream without you.

I know 2012 is going to be another amazing year so hang on and enjoy the ride!

Terry
